Badger Tinted Sunscreen
Badger is as much a part of my childhood as colorful ponies with whimsical names and matching hairbrushes. I love this brand! My mother has warned me of the evils of sunscreen before it was trendy to be afraid of DNA bending sun protectant. But my skin is very Irish and “can’t even” when it comes to the sun. So we are strictly a natural sunscreen family.
Recently my friend asked me if my child was actually getting whiter (he is mixed but I felt pretty confident his ratio of whiteness and blackness was already settled) so I immediately assumed he had some unnamed illness that had yet to be diagnosed (because its me, and in all fairness he did have a cough) but as it turned out it was just the white paint I put on his face that passes for natural sunscreen and there ain’t nobody that can rub that stuff in.
Thus the TINTED version. It’s amazing and blends with most skin tones, but it doesn’t matter because … wait for it… IT RUBS IN! and disappears into the skin like it was never even there. Because sunscreen should be felt and not seen.
Snapscara
I’m not a big mascara person. I find that it usually just travels south, probably because my lashes grow straight out of my eyelids like they just can’t be bothered to curl up (I get it, life is hard). Snapscara actually stays where it’s supposed to stay and comes off really easy when I’ve had enough.

I hardly ever order coffee, because I love to buy local, yet this is one I can't pass up!
Lemon Curd
I am obsessed with Lemon Curd. I put it on scones and English muffin toast.
