I'm a writer. I love words, journals full of them, different fonts, smudged ink, dog eared books that feel like friends. I love talking about characters and story and thoughts put on paper, where they take shape and are just waiting for someone to read them and understand them and care about them.
I have had over 100 pieces published, nationally and internationally. My writing takes many forms from poetry to short story. I have covered regattas and written radio dramas. I write about faith, relationships, style and more than once my heady romance with coffee.
I am married to an entrepreneur and we flip houses, schools, whatever building or property sings to us. We thought we couldn't be busier so we opened a small business to prove our selves wrong. We have a son and we took in a stray dog.

If faith is the bread of life, writing is the nectar. It is sweet and nourishing, a golden transparency we can keep to ourselves in soft leather journals or share in printed bound pages.
I started this blog to encourage writers to write, myself included.
